Is it bad that I blast music in my earphones almost everyday?
Almost everyday, someone in my house is fighting and like to block out their voices by blasting the music. I also blast music in my earphones everyday because I love to listen to the beat. Is this bad for my ears?
What will it do to my ears?
Don’t worry too much, you can always lower the volume. Did you start doing this a long time ago? If you did than I think it would be better to stop or not use earphones. There are a bunch of little hairs inside the ear that when sound vibrations hit them, that’s how you hear. When you are young, u are able to hear better, even tiny noises. my science teacher last year took out her phone and did this app thing were it made this really high pitched noise and she was like “can u guys hear that?” and we could, and so could she, and her doctor was really surprised because when u get older u aren’t really able to hear that. Anyway, if u use earphones too much it could damage the microscopic hairs inside ur ear and cause u to not hear as well, but if u haven’t been doing it for like years and years, u should still be okay and u can try and stop blasting the music too high. I love listening to music and I tend to listen to it on earphones too and turn it up as high as I like but I make sure to keep it low enough so I don’t hurt my ears, and I don’t listen to it on earphones every day. U probably haven’t really damaged ur ears, but u should try and stop using earphones. I use earphones to listen to Green Day(‘cause I LOVE ‘em : ] ) but I used to listen to them like on the lowest that I could and if u get used to hearing it at a lower volume it will seem loud enough for u. like when I got used to listening to the music on higher volume at first it seemed a little to loud but then I got used to it and it seemed normal. Same thing if u listen to it quiet so that should help. Hahaha sorry this is long : ]
