i want connect my pc to tv but my tv doesn't have pc connector . tell me in detail how can connect my pc to tv and is any hardware require except garphic card .i mean i dont have graphic card and is any hardware avalible to replac graphic card to connect my pc to tv.and is it necesery to have windows media center . ia have windows xp
In order to hook your PC to a TV, you need to have a video card which has either an S-video or an RCA output jack. You also need a TV with the matching input jack, or you have to connect the PC to a VCR or DVD player (which will have input jacks) and then connect the player to your TV.
Note that the ONLY sends the picture to the TV, not the sound. You will also have connect a cable from the headest/speaker out jack of your PC to the input of the TV or VCR/DVD player.
If the TV is a high definition LCD or Plasma screen, you will get a nice picture. If it is an old, clunky, picture-tube TV, forget it. The resolution on such TVs is so low that any lettering on the screen will be unreadable. The picture will be very fuzzy and jerky becuase of the lower refresh rate on TVs. It is not worth the expense and effort to connect a PC to a picture tube TV.
