the new ipod nano or the ipod video classic?
I am trying to decide between the new ipod nano (3rd gen) or the new ipod video classic. I have a mini with 300 songs, but I am planning to have around 500-600 songs, and I want to have about 200-300 photos. I know I am not going to use close to 80gb, but I want to have around 6 movies, which is more than the nano can hold. which one should I get? By the way I think I'll listen to music more than I'll watch movies and videos. Oh yeah, one last question, does the nano seem like the screen would be too small to watch 2hr. videos?
Well both have their pros and cons. Size and price would be your primary concerns, now that they both supprt video.
Would you prefer a smaller ipod, or a larger one? It depends whether you consider the classic too much hassle to carry. Video screen quality will not be an issue because the nano has the highest resolution of any screen apple manufactures. It will give you even better video quality. I personally would want a bigger screen and therefore would not choose the nano, even with the high res.
Price is also an issue. If you really think you need to be carrying around that many movies at a time then you need the classic, but is it worth the $50 more youre going to have to pay?
These are the important questions.
Overall, if you want the extra capacity and dont mind the size or price then the classic is the way to go.
But if you want something more easily portable thats cheaper and dont mind the smaller screen and capacity then the nano is youre best option.
Now the touch is an option as well. It offers a larger screen and a smaller capacity for a slightly higher price. It is really a mix between the two. But if you do not like the interface it is obviously not an option.
